Playing Lottery and Saving Lives

Perhaps not many people outside Canada have heard of the Stars charitable organization or the Stars Lottery. It is not a simple lottery but a lottery on a mission. Established in 1985, STARS is a foundation that fights for lives. It provides people with vital care when they urgently need it.

STARS offers emergency medical transport for the injured and ill. It also trains rural health providers and helps with rapid transport in cases of emergency. STARS operates 24/7 from their various bases in Alberta and Saskatchewan, always anticipating and acting quickly when an emergency arises.
